Mobile devices offer unique opportunities in User Interface Design

Mobile devices now have an established presence in the marketplace and society. With it comes new ways for users to interact with information, and thus new territory and opportunities within the UI and UX Design industry. As designers, are we taking advantage of the new challenges that mobile devices bring, or are we relying too much on the old desktop habits in our design solutions?
