Areteworks Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
Areteworks, Inc., also known as Areteworks Product Design (“Areteworks,” “we,” or “us”), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and disclose information through areteworks.com and when you contact us about our services.
We provide design and consulting services to businesses in the United States. This policy covers our public website and business inquiries. Research or project information handled under a separate client agreement is governed by that agreement and any applicable privacy notices.
Information you provide
When you submit an inquiry or email us, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, work email address, company, phone number, project details and correspondence. We use it to respond, discuss a potential engagement, provide services and maintain business records.
Please do not include patient records, identifiable health information, passwords or payment-card details in a website inquiry.
Information collected when you visit
Our website and service providers may automatically receive information such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and operating system, device type, referring website, pages viewed, visit times, interactions and cookie or similar identifiers. Some of this information may qualify as personal information even when it does not include your name.
We use this information to understand website use, improve content and performance, evaluate marketing, identify spam and fraudulent traffic, and protect the website.
Cookies, analytics and other technologies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Scripts, tags and similar technologies can also collect or transmit information about a visit. Our website includes the following services:
- Google Analytics: helps us understand traffic, pages viewed and interactions with the site. Learn how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.
- StatCounter: provides traffic statistics and visitor activity information, including referring pages, device information and first-time or returning visits. Depending on settings and browser controls, it may use cookies and collect IP addresses. Read the StatCounter privacy policy.
- Google Ads: our website includes a Google Ads tag. Depending on the features enabled, it may associate ad interactions with website visits or inquiries and support advertising measurement or personalization. The information processed depends on the configuration and applicable privacy choices. See Google’s advertising and business data disclosures.
- Polygraph: our website includes a script for detecting bots and fraudulent advertising traffic. This service may process technical information about a visit for fraud detection. Read the Polygraph privacy policy.
Website hosting, forms and security services may also process technical information needed to deliver pages, handle inquiries and protect the site. Some third-party services may collect information across websites, depending on their features and settings. Their linked privacy notices explain their practices.
Your cookie and advertising choices
You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and limit certain tracking. Blocking cookies may affect website functions and does not necessarily prevent all information collection, such as server logs or requests sent by scripts.
- Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: provides a way to limit Google Analytics collection in supported browsers. It does not control all Google services or other analytics tools.
- StatCounter cookie refusal control: lets you refuse StatCounter’s third-party analytics cookie in the browser you use. It does not disable every form of website analytics, and you may need to repeat the choice on other devices or after clearing cookies.
- You can review Google privacy and advertising controls through the Google disclosures linked above.
The website does not currently offer a sitewide cookie-preference panel. A browser’s “Do Not Track” setting should not be assumed to disable the services listed above. For questions or requests about tracking, contact us using the details below.
How information is disclosed
Information may be processed by providers that help us operate the website, manage email and inquiries, analyze traffic, measure advertising or prevent fraud. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or at your direction. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries.
We do not sell or rent our email subscriber lists. Disclosures through advertising technologies may be considered a “sale,” “sharing” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws, depending on the facts and settings. You can contact us about the information disclosed through this website and the choices available to you.
Retention and security
We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining client and business records, meeting legal obligations and resolving disputes. Retention varies with the type of information, the relationship involved and legal requirements. Analytics providers also apply their own retention settings and policies.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no website, email system or method of storage is completely secure.
Privacy requests and communications
You may contact us to ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop sending marketing communications. You may also use an unsubscribe option included in a marketing email. We may still send communications needed to respond to an inquiry or provide requested services.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct it, delete it, or opt out of certain uses or disclosures. We will review requests under the laws that apply. We may need information to verify your identity or authority, and some records may need to be retained for legal or other permitted reasons. If you disagree with our response, reply to ask for a further review.

Our website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided such information.
Links to publications, social platforms and other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices. Please review their policies when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
